For Wounded Heroes

We are a 501c3 nonprofit located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We offer all inclusive vacations for First Responders on disability. This includes any branch of the Military, Firefighters, Police Officers, E.M.T's, Lineman and Tree trimmers injured in the line of duty.

Kamp George gives our Heroes an opportunity to enjoy amazing adventures with family members. We offer a unique environment hosting dozens of activities to help build self esteem and bring everyone closer together.

2023 VACATION RECIPIENTS

WE ARE HONORED TO WELCOME DOUG AND ELIZABETH SHREVE FROM HOCKLEY, TEXAS. DOUG SERVED 22 YEARS IN THE ARMY. HE RECIEVED A PURPLE HEART FOR WOUNDS SUSTAINED IN IRAQ. TERRENCE GADSBY AND FAMILY FROM HARLEYSVILLE, PA. TJ SERVED 4 YEARS ACTIVE AND 2 YEARS RESERVES IN THE ARMY. AFTER HIS SERVICE HE COMPLETED A 4 YEAR APPRENTICESHIP AND IS A JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN FOR I.B.E.W. LOCAL 126.

ATV TRIPS

Thanks to the amazing support from the Fish and Hunt Shop in Curtis Michigan. We are able to take our HEROES on trail rides to visit unforgettable destinations.

BOATING FISHING & WATER SPORTS

Kamp George is located on a 10,000 acre lake and less than an hour from Lake Superior and Lake Michigan making our water adventures endless.

SITE SEEING TOURS

We strive to give our Heroes and their families the best experience possible. There are numerous attractions across the Upper Peninsula for those who want something out of the Kamp norm.
